SQUARE COLOUR FILTERS

The square colour filters allow you to take black and white pictures with the best quality. You will take professional black and white pictures. They are compatible with Cokin, Jessops or Kood systems. The monochrome pictures are the result of a variation of density between the white and the black. By acting on the contrast, you can modify these pictures and give them the result you want to obtain. Nowadays, you can also used  some software but  you maybe not obtain the effect needed. By the way, using those square colour filters the results will be fantastic and very professional.

Commonly used for a noticeable increase in contrast with black and white films. Especially useful for clear contrast between blue sky with clouds and foreground. It is also suitable for landscapes and nature scenes.
A red filter clears up yellow, orange and red colours at the same time as it darkens up the blue and purple colours. You will obtain a clearer picture on cloudy days,  it gives a flatter contrast with less depth and less perspective.
An orange filter gives effects which are stronger than those given by a yellow filter but not as bold and dramatic as those given by a red filter, hence it is the ideal choice to span the effects given by both these filters. Blue skies will be recorded in very dark tones on the print, giving bold contrast between the sky and clouds. An orange filter will also penetrate haze and fog. Most flowers will be recorded with a significant difference in tone from the surrounding foliage giving impact and effect. An orange filter is excellent choice when bold and dramatic effects are required.
A green filter is great when taking black and white shots as it enhances trees,  leaves and foliage without affecting the rest of your image. It also greatly enhances skin tones and helps remove blemishes from the skin when taking people portraits.
